About
I stated teaching skiing at age 15. I love the sport and have a passion for helping others get the most out of their snow sport experience. Skiing has been a driver for me to stay active and do what I love to do even when I was busy with a career and raising a family. I'm fortunate that I am able to return to teaching skiing with the same, yet seasoned passion as I had when I first started to teach. Through the years it was important that I keep learning, stay current, and adapt as ski technique and ski equipment changed. I must say, I have a lot of tools in my tool bag.
I am currently the Ultimate 4, for Her Women's coordinator at Northstar. This is a lesson for women taught by women. I pride myself in movement analysis and offer suggestions that address the root cause of an inefficient movement. I look at what the skier is doing well and build on those strengths. In the end, it's all about having fun and enjoying the thrills and excitement of flying down a hill, safely.
