About

I fell in love with skiing in high school and have been teaching skiing ever since.  I started off teaching at Angel Fire, NM followed by a long stint at Beaver Creek, CO and a season at Taos Ski Valley in New Mexico before settling down for good at Alta, UT.   I have spent a summer teaching in New Zealand and a few summer seasons coaching racing on Mt. Hood  I am also a former examiner and divisional clinic leader for PSIA-Intermountain.  I have coached the season-long Alta Youth Club program since its inception in 1991.
I love taking care of people and watching them fall in love with skiing like I did.  I specialize in families and enjoy coaching children of all ages.  I especially enjoy skiing powder and off-trail conditions.
In my spare time, I homeschool my three children and ride my mountain bike as much as possible.
I would be thrilled to show your entire family how to enjoy the fantastic powder snow that has made Alta so famous.
