About

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I love being able to cultivate a learning space where students can discover things on their own. Watching students figure out something new gives me such energy and joy. But it wasn't until I decided to take time off from the classroom that I realized I could cultivate this same feeling while skiing.

As a child, my family took two ski trips a year to different mountains. It was during these trips that my love for skiing began. As I got older, we continued to head out west from Wisconsin to dig our edges in some fresh snow, I would always mention how I wanted to live in the mountains and ski for a living. So I decided to move.

My goal as a ski instructor is to guide students through an experience that challenges them both mentally and physically. Skiing is about the experience and as their coach, I create a learning space for them to discover their own passion for the sport.

It's the love of these two things--both skiing and teaching--that make me come back each year. Come ski with me and we'll help you figure out why you love skiing too.

Beth is one of the best instructors that Copper has to offer. She has a warm and friendly demeanor that kids instantly pick up on and it makes them feel secure and welcome into their lesson. Her experience teaching in the classroom and on the hill is evident in her lessons. She is able to keep the day fun and exciting, play to each child's individual strengths and learning styles, accurately assess movement patterns and develops an effective progression to meet students' ski goals. I have heard many students talk about how much they love Beth and that they can't wait to ski with her again. Heck, when I'm not working the person I most want to go skiing with is Beth! She rips harder than almost anyone I've ever met! Book your lesson with her and you will have an amazing and transformative ski experience.
