Michael’s family has been living and skiing in the four Farthings of Utah for many hundreds of years. Quite content to ignore and be ignored by the world of the Big Folk — The-Earth being, after all, full of strange creatures beyond count. Michael must seem of little importance, being neither renowned as a great warrior, nor counted among the very wise. In fact, it has been remarked by some that Michael’s only real passion is for skiing. A rather unfair observation, as he has also developed a keen interest in the watching of Real Salt Lake, the playing of Overwatch, and the eating of Cafe Rio. But where his heart truly lie is in peace and quiet, and good tilled earth. For all Hobbits share a love of things that grow...
For things are made to endure at Sundance, passing from one generation to the next. There's always been quality instructors, teaching here under the Hill… in the yurt. And there always will be.
