About
I will start with a few things about myself, but before i do, Just know that today is about you. Everyone can always look back and say "I should have tried that..." To actually say you did is an accomplishment in itself.
My name is Jenna VandeMortel. I am 23 years old. I thoroughly enjoy teaching people how to snowboard. My classes are about having fun, but also learning the basics of what is takes to become an awesome rider. I started on ski's at just 2 1/2 years old., where I mainly spent my time at Greek Peak. Also starting gymnastics at the same age, became a state competitor by age 17. Around 10 or 11, I was looking for a more of a challenge after nearly completing a back flip on skis. Hey, Dont get me wrong, I have fallen and busted my butt plenty of times with all the sports I have tried. However, just pushing myself alone is the best part of it all. My first year has gone great and my excitement for the sport has clearly rubbed off on my students. Whether we fall a few times as a beginners, or as an experts, I am excited everyday to see what other people are capable of as a snowboarder. I will hopefully become a Ski instructor within this next year as well. See you on the mountain :-)
