Kathy Mitchell

Kathy was an amazing guide!! She did exaclty what we had in mind- took us through some amazing trees, took my son on his first diamond, and even got us in the half pipe!! She had hand warmers and snacks fo rmy son, and even helped with an emergency bathroom stop! It was so nice being able to cut the long lift lines on a holiday weekend! If we ever come back, we would definatley hire her again! The next day my son kept asking for Coach Kathy :)

Awesome. Not only is she a super-competent guide but also is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She was very well-prepared to make my visit to Winter Park a success. She even provided hand warmers and a scarf!

Kathy and her tour far exceeded my expectations. Not only do I feel much more oriented with the mountain, I feel I made a friend. Kathy is also a beautiful skier and delightful company.

Kathy was great! We were looking for a way to get quickly aquainted with the mountain and see some areas we might have not been adventurous enough to find on our own and that's exactly what she put together for us. Getting to head of the line on a very busy Saturday was a great bonus! We would definitely book Kathy again when we visit Winter Park.

Kathy was an amazing guide!! She was very helpful prior to the trip and sent maps and suggestions on places to park. This was my first time coming to Winter Park and I was by myself. Her guidance to help get me there was much appreciated. She was very interested in what I wanted to get out of my time with her. She helped encourage me to try different things I had never done before. I don't ski with people back home that do bumps, trees, half-pipes but I had a blast doing these things with Kathy. She even got my down my first Black Diamond! She always had great suggestions for trails and even helped layout the rest of my afternoon while I would be on my own. I would definitely recommend Kathy to anyone coming to Winter Park for the first time! She was a great guide!

Kathy was THE BEST!! I can’t even leave a review to justify the fun we had and the experiences we never would have had without her. She pushed us as she saw fit and we couldn’t thank her enough. If you are on the fence about a guide- do it! We were only at Winter Park for a short time and wanted to have a great experience, thanks to Kathy that happened!

My 8-year old daughter and I spent the morning on the mountain with Kathy. I would describe our ski level as advanced beginners. Kathy was very responsive prior to our trip and was aware of our goals for the day. She helped us get our legs under us with some easy green runs and then showed us other areas of the mountain as our time progressed. Kathy was particularly great with my daughter and even showed her some fun tree runs and introduced one of the terrain parks. Kathy was also helpful in suggesting eating locations on and off the mountain. During a snack break, she had granola bars for us as an added perk. Would certainly recommend Kathy if you're new to Winter Park or just looking to find new, less explored areas of the mountain.
