Trevor Hunt

I don’t believe there could have been a better instructor for my son. Trevor was able to engage my 11 year old and explain techniques to him in a way that a kid can get and have fun with. The most successful part of his time with Trevor was that he was given the confidence to fall. This was what had originally held my child back from progressing as he would become frustrated and think there was no hope. Once he got past this , with Trevor’s encouragement, he was excited to hit the slopes every week! My satisfaction came from after the lessons when my son was thrilled to talk at the dinner table about the new techniques he had learned that week and the ways they were taught, even jumping up from the table at times to show the family! Lessons with Trevor were outstanding and I would 100% recommend, especially for youth that could use a little extra fun in the learning experience.

I went to crotched for my first time on a snowboard to meet Tevor for a lesson. Trevor is a phenomenal instructor. Trever is patient and makes sure that you are comfortable on your board before moving onto any fundimentals.

Trevor is a wonderfully energetic and positive teacher. He spent a bunch of time with me on the bunny hill to get me comfortable on my board and with the overall idea of snowboarding. I had never been snowboarding before ( and the last time I was on skis was in 4th grade!). He kept things upbeat with his constant encouragment and with his Michael Jackson impressions while riding the magic carpet. Next it was time to take on the mountain. I did not fall while getting off the chairlift unlike the two girls learning behind us so that was wonderful. With Trevor’s direction I was able to go down the whole trail that day. I would definitely recommend Trevor as a teacher because he is great at what he does and is a total ham! 10/10!

After many tries and just as many failures with my daughter trying different styles being taught by many different skilled teachers, I almost gave up finding a instructor who could help her out. Plus after 4 lessons it was getting a bit expensive, but when we came across Trevor I knew right away we were onto something, straight from the introduction his energy and excitement to help my daughter learn the basics and make even a little failure fun. His lessons are outside the box and not so basic and text booked. Which is why I believe the success we got from his one lesson over all the other ones , really stuck and were able to build on. We were very blessed to have such a enthusiastic instructor, who loves to help expand the sport and to make sure you're safe while doing it. Even to this day when we come across each other on the trails , he makes sure to ride over and check up on us and is pleased to give tips and encouragement. He gets two thumbs up from us
