Gabe Sylvestre

Trees, Trees, Trees! Gabe was an incredible instructor and helped our group a TON with navigating the glades. He obviously enjoys them too so he knew what to look for in our riding and then ran some through drills that were extremely pertinent and fun as well. He was also a great guide. We left our group lesson feeling like we all had a private with things to work on, better skills and smiles on our faces. Thank you Gabe!

Gabe was my instructor for 3 of 5 days Feb 23-27. They were all group lessons. One day was on green runs learning to butter our boards and try 180's. Another was warm up and instruction on blue runs ending with me on one of my first black diamond runs! My final day with Gabe was back on blue runs with two other ladies, one riding at a more beginner level but Gabe was able to teach us all what we needed, doing the same drills but we each took away what we needed to improve our riding. He was able to explain things in many different ways and has an experiential approach to teaching. Gabe is a fantastic instructor who combines his knowledge, patience and contagious enthusiasm for the sport to create a a fun and productive lesson for all. Thanks Gabe.

Gabe is super friendly and will teach you whatever you want to learn at your ability level. we were a mixed group of 4 ladies and I younger man and we had a great time learning buttering tricks on a green run. Thanks!

I had a private lesson with Gabe after a few attempts at trying to get back into snowboarding after many years. I was fearful and had no idea what I was doing wrong or how to correct it - I was about to give up! After the lesson with Gabe I was able to feel more in control - and by the end I was linking turns comfortably! More importantly, he was able to adapt his instruction to my learning style, and for the first time I really understood how to move my board. He was extremely patient, clear, and I felt no pressure to move beyond my skill level until I was ready. I can honestly say my 'nerves' took a back seat and I just had fun out there!

Gabe Sylvestre was amazing. In 1.5 hours I improved my ability on the snow board and became faster and more confident. He is a great instructor- patient, friendly and knowledgeable.

Instruction was clear, concise, and informative. I would 100% recommend Gabe to anyone trying to improve their skills at both the beginner and advanced level!

A phenomenal instructor! Very clear instructions and demonstration. His teaching methods showed me a whole new world of snowboarding and I cant wait for another lesson!

Great teacher, incredibly knowledgeable about the mechanics of proper board control for both carving and park. Also just a cool guy.
