About

Hi All!
My name is Georgia and I have been a ski instructor for 8 years and was an alpine race coach for 2 years. Attitash is where I learned to ski as a young child, now I ski Sugarloaf. I love working with skiiers of every level, but my speciality is helping skiers fully transfer from wedge to parallel skiing, and teaching basic racing skills.  
When I'm not skiing I am a teacher (English and Social Studies) and I captain a boat in the summer.

Intermediate - Another Program

Looks like my last review didn't post, so hopefully this one does... Georgia rocks. Plain and simple. Last winter (2017), my son was having a hard time with his pace. He was skilled but timid and just too slow. At the end of a day with her, I suddenly see my son keeping his speed up through the turns and having a blast down the mountain. She unlocked something in him and he's now in the seasonal program at Attitash and loving it. Thanks in huge part to her skills as an instructor. Fast forward to TODAY, March 9 2018 and I hear someone calling me on the slopes. Georgia recognized us and checked in on my son. She was truly pleased to hear about his continued progress. She remembered my son, a year later. What does that say of her dedication to her craft and her passion? See you on the slopes! .

Beginner - Another Program

Our 4 year old son had a private lesson at Attitash with Georgia on 1/16/18 and it was awesome! She has him turning and listening and knowing what he needed to do to ride the chairlift with Mom by the end of the season. Our son had so much fun so he asked for another lesson with her the next day! We're looking forward to more skiiing with Georgia this year!

Advanced - Another Program

Georgia is an amazing ski instructor. I have been taking lessons from her for 2 years, and she makes me feel confident and safe on every trail. When I first had a lesson with her, I had never skied before and was very nervous. As soon as we went on the trail, I instantly lost my nervousness because I knew she was there to tell me how to do anything. She is very communicable and gives advice at the right time, anything she explains is easy to follow because she demonstrates and elaborates on it. I look forward to my next lessons with her!

Advanced - Another Program

My daughter took a group lesson up at Attitash/ Bear Peak with Georgia and truly loved it. Georgia is a top notch pro ski instructor. Professionalism can't get any higher. I look forward to the next time that I can have her take my daughter out and give her instruction on how to improve her skiing ability. Hope to ski with you soon Georgia.
