About

About your guide:

I love Winter Park! Not only have my husband and I lived here for over 12 years but I have snowboarded at this resort from the day I arrived. This is where I learned to ride and I have progressed over the years to feeling comfortable pretty much everywhere on the mountain. I have also grown to love being in the backcountry and was certified with an AIARE level 1 several years ago. My full time job is selling spirits and beer throughout Grand County. When I’m not selling liquor I enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking, running and cross country skiing. Being able to do all of these activities right out my back door is just one of the many reason I love living here.

Snowboard Style:

I enjoy riding almost everywhere on the mountain. My favorite places to go are trees, moguls, steeps and anywhere you can find powder. I enjoy cruising blue runs but also like to get into more difficult terrain. The only place I don’t spend time is in our terrain parks. On most days will you probably find me riding the black runs on the backside of Mary Jane.

Why ride with Emily:

I am excited to be guiding this winter because I get to share my knowledge and love of this resort with others. If you want to spend the day looking for the best powder runs or just a few hours exploring our terrain, I’m you girl. I would love to enhance your experience at Winter Park Resort.

None - Guided Snowboarding

My brother and I rode with Emily for "cruising the groomers" on snowboard, and we had a great time. Emily was friendly and knowledgeable about the terrain and the best way to get around Winter Park and Mary Jane. We covered a lot of ground in 3 hours. I would recommend Emily for other snowboarders.
