I decided to pick up a snowboard at 33, after my husband; who is an avid snowboarder finally made me do it. I took a beginner lesson with an instructor and that left me more confused than anything. I decided to give it another try and contacted Josh. It was a great decision! Besides being incredibly kind, patient and down to earth Josh is an amazing teacher. He has a way of explaining how the snowboard reacts to your bodies movements that makes complete sense and makes it easy for a beginner to understand and apply. After 2 lessons with Josh I was carving successfully down the mountain. I won't stop my lessons here though, I can see Josh has the experience, drive and commitment to teach me so much more and I'm looking forward to it.

Josh is an amazing and patient instructor who's knowledge of the sport and attention to even the littlest details in your riding form pay off in huge ways when under his tutelage. His love of the sport and lighthearted personality make him easy to get along with which allows for a pressure free and fun learning experience. You can tell Josh truly enjoys sharing the knowledge of a sport he loves in just how enthusiastic he is about snowboarding and teaching it in general, he knows just what to say and do to get you going with your best form possible and will be just as excited as you are when you successfully complete even the basics of snowboarding, definitely someone to listen to. Look forward to riding with him again.

Josh is very friendly and professional! He gives clear and relatable instructions, and made me feel capable and confident the first time I stepped on a board. He worked over the skills as many times as I needed him to, and was able to identify what I needed to work on to improve and explain why. He also gave me great advice on the type of boards and bindings that would suit me best.
