I've been teaching since 2006. I passed my AASI level 3 exam in march of 2012. From the season of 2012-2013 to 2014-2015 I headed up the snowboard training and in house freestyle certification for all the staff at Sunday River. I am now a part of the Copper family in Colorado where I teach for Ski and Ride School and coach for Woodward. I've been teaching skiing for 8 years and freestyle skiing for 6, though do not have any certs on skis. Winter has been my passion since I was very small and I love sharing it with as many others as I can!

Advanced - Another Program

Gabe was awesome, he knew all the dynamics of how everything worked which is something I don't think about as often as I should. We worked off of each other really well which made the experience so much better. Great time out there, and I learned a lot of what my goals for the day were. Can't be happier with the outcome!

Intermediate - Another Program

Gabe was very helpful and gave me the confidence to be able to go down a blue. The overall experience was delightful and I can't wait to do another private for next time!

Advanced - Another Program

He did a great job, he wasn't on the clock, but when I asked him about some tips for a jump, he gave me some after the jump, then offered to do a few runs with me. His advice on the different things in the park really helped out. He was also nice and seemed chill.

Beginner - Another Program

I took a lesson today with Gabe and he was a great instructor. He was so helpful and gave constant positive reinforcement. I was very nervous to ski and he calmed my nerves and gave me the confidence I needed to ski for the rest of the day. I would highly recommend him to any level skier/snowboarder! :)

Intermediate - Another Program

I have been skiing with Gabe for the past 3 years at Sunday River. Every time I go to the river with my wife and kids I enjoy skiing with Gabe. He always gives me great pointers on improving my skiing and takes me around the mountain to places that challenge me so that I continue to improve. He has been great with my kids! I have a 6 year old who was taught to snowboard by Gabe at the age of 4! My son is able to go up the Chondola and board down the mountain with no problem and no fear! My daughter is 4 years old and skis very well because of what Gabe has taught her! Gabe is an excellent teacher whether it be with kids or adultsl I have experience with him doing both!
