About
I teach because I love sharing something I am passionate about, and like to ignite that fire in others. I've taught all ages from 3 yr olds to retirees. Preferably, I teach private lessons so you can get all the proper attention to develop skills needed in as little time as possible. Also prefer groups no larger than 4 for that reason.
It's important to learn skills right the first time, because it's hard to break bad habits!
One of my proudest days: a 5 year old girl who was so terrified, she was crying at the kids' beginner run. By talking to her to keep her mind occupied, she was surprised to find herself at the bottom of a green run as I skied backwards in front of her. By the end of the day she was skiing blue slopes with her dad, happy as a clam!
When I'm not skiing, I am a photographer by trade. In addition to lessons, I can also provide family on-snow portraits and action shots!
