About

I have been snowboarding for more than 20 years. Snowboarding has become a lifestyle for me. Being an instructor has given me patience to teach people, understand them and help them enjoy the hill. Snowboarding may not always be easy, but it is always fun!

I love sharing my passion for snowboarding with my students. I have had success teaching students of all ages and abilities. I feel an amazing sense of pride when my students succeed. Let me help you learn how to snowboard!

When I'm not snowboarding I enjoy biking, hiking and golfing and I always have a view of the mountains that I love so much.

Morgan is a great teacher. Very knowledgeable and patient! I decided to try snowboarding this year after a 14 year break from skiing. She remained calm despite me running into her in the chairlift line, practically falling into her lap on the chairlift which I had only tried 3 times before, wiping out on the chair lift ramp, and each time I fell on the trail. Needless to say I am a hot mess on a snowboard but she remained calm, talked me through it and I had a great time. Hope to do some more lessons with her before the season is over.

I arrived to the 2hr lesson with snowboard in hand and admitted that I had no knowledge of how to put it on. I was an absolute beginner and as a competent skier, a little nervous to boot. Morgan took this in her stride and delivered the perfect amount of information throughout the lesson. Her great personality meant that the time flew. I am so glad I opted for 2hrs because it allowed a little “refreshment” break somewhere in the middle so that I could pause, take in everything I had been taught and apply it in the second half of the session. She instilled confidence in me such that the following day after 2-3hrs of putting into practice what she had shown me, I was taking the lift competently, linking my turns and skating without falling. I could hear her tips in my head as to what I should be feeling, what my toes and heels should be doing and most importantly, where I should be looking. Amazing experience with Morgan and highly recommended!
