David Blinken

I hadn't skied in 10 years and was very nervous to get back on my skis. I was fortunate to be put into David's group. After a few lessons my confidence returned and I began skiing like never before. He was patient, a wonderful teacher and he made it fun. Whenever I got nervous he would remind me what to do and now it comes easily to me. I would recommend David in a heartbeat, for adults and kids alike. He's truly a great teacher!!

David is very professional, knowledgeable, and patient, and my group has been very selfish and demanded to have him as our teacher at Mountain Creek Ladies Club for years. We are a very cohesive, happy, and slightly unhinged group, and David has brought out the best in us and made us much better skiers year after year.

Definitely take a lesson with David! He has plenty of teaching tools to work with and his love of skiing and enthusiasm are infectious! I had the pleasure of observing David teach my partner, who is an advanced skier. David was able to spot what was holding her back from skiing Nirvana and, significantly, focus on and build on her considerable strengths. Sometimes teaching experienced students can be challenging because defensive habits can be entrenched, but through a series of clear and thoughtful progressions, David was able to get her to a major breakthrough which continues to this day. Highly highly recommended for all levels.
